Just started using the latest LR and PS versions with the X-Pro2. They seem to handle the files better than the previous versions that I was using and now the .Raf files (RAW images) can be taken straight into LR rather than going through silkypix first. Here's my first processed image done...
I don't know why but comparing the image I posted above with what I see on Photoshop shows noticeable differences. Ther halos aren't there on what I processed on photoshop and the image looks a lot better than it does on here.

I like the second one. Ultimate sharpness isn't always a priority, the soft focus effect with the lens is well suited to the subject here. I'd have a go with that for people portraits too, I bet you could get good results.
