on my 27" iMac I have an issue with it freezing. Ran the AHT and it tells me a sensor has failed and that it is the hard disk temp sensor. Now the thing is this sensor hasn't been used for ages as I installed an SSD and covered the temp and temp/sensor issue by using software. It's worked...

What av are you using? If sophos then change it. I had issues after upgrading, specifically time machine backups taking an age. I deleted sophos and now using avira.

Only two issues so far. LiveDrive has to be updated to the latest version otherwise the briefcase doesn't work. And Postbox doesn't like communicating with iCloud servers.

BTW, I've found BT/openreach have a new product, FTTT. Which stands for Fibre To The Town. They prep the exchange for handling fibre, tick the box, then b****r off without connecting up any customers.
