hello all, can anyone please reccommend a zoom lens 400mm or 500mm that will work fine on the sony a-mount camera, i have the sony 75-300mm but feel at times i would like to get that bit closer.

The "usual suspects" for relatively cheap long zooms are Sigma's 50-500 or 150-500 and Tamron's 150-600. The newer OS versions of the Sigmas are apparently better than the older non OS versions (optically).
