Okay you lucky boys and girls.

Bradford Council recently joined the other 49 who have made their food hygiene results public. If your council is one of the 50 (there are more coming soon), you can search for any establishment that serves food and see how they did on recent hygiene inspections.

The Inn-dian got 3/5 stars, thats not too bad really and the place seems clean enough inside. Its suprising that one of the places that is considered well upmarket got 1 star.

Interesting stuff. My council isn't on there unfortunately, although I think ignorance is bliss when it comes to restaurants. I'm pretty sure we'd all be horrified if we spent a day in the kitchen of our favorite eating place

Grendel, i spent 10 years managing a restaurant and to be honest the health inspectors are very good. But some of the rules are practically unworkable these days. The establishment i worked at had a very good reputation with the 'law' and completed the minimum checks, two yearly. But the stories we were told were amazing, when thay find somewhere that does not measure up they are like a dog with a bone!
