I am currently on holiday, and it is raining, :( hence why I am at a computer. :rolleyes: When home, I usually watch YouTube via an app on the TV. Atm I am watching on laptop and browser. Where I am staying there is a couple of web cams for me to check the conditions. Rather than bookmark the page I went back into my 'History' on YT to get back to the web cams. I was very surprised to see videos that I had not watched in my 'History'! :eek: How does that happen? Has it always been happening? :thinking:

I've gone back a couple of weeks, but that looks pretty much OK, but was watching on the TV. Is it watching YT on a computer that is adding random stuff! I'd be interested if anyone has any explanation or experience of this.
 
I thought that, and started scrolling by the side of the page, to as not mouse over anything, but some stuff has still been added. :thinking: And some of the thumbnails make it look like I have watched a bit of the video, from the red bar along the bottom, even though I haven't.
 
Autoplay of the next video on the list?
 
I had the same problem - drove me nuts until I figured it out. :headbang:

You need to disable the 'inline playback'.

Go into settings and under 'playback and performance', and then under the bottom one; 'browsing' toggle off the 'inline playback' slider.
 
Thank you. I hope that's it. Not that I lingured over any thumbnails for them to play, it may have been registering. Fingers crossed. :)

I find that a superb item of youtube , if you login using a google account on all your devices it just syncs your lists.
