Does anyone know if the iPad censors YouTube results?

I'm thinking more of a general filter. Was watching some Chris Rock standup on the PC and then went to watch it again on the iPad and it just wouldn't show up in the search results despite putting the exact title in - but was still searchable on the PC. Tried YouTube through the app and also through Safari but no success.

I've got a few google accounts for business purposes but never really been interested in all this Google+ stuff. I'll try sending it by email as a link. Perhaps there's some sort of censorship in the settings?

i doubt its censorship to be honest, this isnt korea ;) having a quick google there doesnt seem to be anything conclusive apart from maybe it is down to different videos having different licencing.

Have you signed in to the same account on the iPad as you did with the :spit: PC?

It may be the format on YouTube. I've some favourites that won't play on the iPad because they are old stuff. Could be that they are in some sort of flash video.

I never had to sign into youtube to watch them, hardly ever sign in to be honest! lol

The format type could be it as I think they were quite old sketches. Also, how come there's no quality setting on the iPad Youtube videos? None that I can see that is!

I haven't got an answer but I have noticed quite different search results when looking for certain specific videos on YouTube over a PC, an android phone and via Panasonic BluRay player.

I've just assumed the different platforms either show their results differently or something to do with country settings.
