Tried all the suggested fixes such as ensuring shockwave is enabled and ticking the GPU rendering box on IE10, still no joy

Just get an error has occurred message when I try to play anything, worked fine on Win 8.1, very strange

Anyone else got this problem, any suggestions gratefuly received

Thanks
Rich

Sorry, yes I meant IE11 and Edge, no joy in either

Thanks for the reply Neil, please excuse my ignorance, but how do i get the player you suggest?

Thanks

I had that problem and it got better all by itself. I threw every fix I could find at it and then, all of a sudden, a couple of days later it worked..... complete mystery.

Try downloading and installing flash from adobe directly.

Tried that and it said Win 10 came with it installed, thanks for replying though

Hope mine does that too Barry, installed Chrome now and youtube works fine with that, very odd

Enough of this nonsense, didn't realise, but my sound stopped working too

Reverted back to 8.1 and will leave 10 until its sorted out properly

If it works with chrome then it is highly likely a flash problem. Iirc chrome has its own built in and as such doesn't use the Adobe version.

Do as Neil suggested and switch to the html5 player, or reinstall flash.

It works without issue through any browser and windows store app for me. As such I wouldn't suggest this is a Windows 10 specific issue.

All ok again now on 8.1, thanks for the advice, but I don't know enough to start messing around
