Your own worst critic

I am one of the worst at offering criticism due to lack of experience, but find it all too easy to crit my own work. This got me thinking if someone posted an image which they set out to capture and failed, and beneath that image list the reasons why they think they got it wrong (in as much detail as possible) then others can either confirm or add to your reasons. Would this help people to learn how to crit other peoples work in a nice, informative and confident manner.

and yes it would .

but all to often people put up a shot then get told the wb is slightly off making it look warm ... then reply with yes i like it like that..

instead of saying in the op what they where trying to get..

it has been mentioned so many times and will be again ..

if people put in the op what they wanted from the shot they would get alot more positive feedback good and bad as folk's will know if they got what they wanted from the shot..

What i'm proposing is one thread (this one) with nothing but imperfect images(all mine to date) with the image posters thoughts followed up with others thoughts.:shrug:
