You be the Judge! - Night

[MAROSSER]

In an attempt to improve our rudimentary photography skills, my girlfriend and I have embarked on a weekly photo competition, based on consecutive alphabetic themes. The challenge being to take photo's that are technically competent and that stretch us creatively.

We alternate each week who chooses the theme, which has to begin with the next letter of the alphabet. We have one week to complete, prior to sharing, but thought that external review from fellow TP'ers would also be helpful.

And so onto this week's theme - Night

Although #1 is missing (IMO) any real obvious subject (the building is too far way and slightly overexposed as far as the cars go, while the forground cars are too dark), I prefer it to #2 which has too much too blurry reflection for my taste.

Although No.2 has a blurry reflection I prefer it on an artistic point of view.

Porsche garage for me, actually went ooooooh when I saw it.

Great location, and the insides are always brightly lit - even at night, and the outside cars arre lit perfectly by the low level light ssurrounding them. Great contrast between the black sky, and the bright building, with the red of Porsche to add some colour. Like it a lot.

The bridge - doesn;t do much for me, getting a bit further away may help, to include more reflections, I have no problems with the blur in the reflection, just would like to have had more reflection.
