YONGNUO YN565EX with D700

YONGNUO YN565EX (only 2 days old)

Has anyone tried this with a Nikon D700 on camera successfully. I cant get mine to Auto zoom in TTL mode. Also when on camera with D700 turned off the flash menu adjustment is fine .. however as soon as i turn the camera on the flash menu adjustments becomes very sluggish and almost ineffective .. Also when on camera and in TTL mode with flash only seems to emit one level of light ... mostly very underexposed.

Any ideas ?

Yes I successfully used that flash with my D700. But sorry cannot be any more help as I now have the D800 with the YN 568 flash.

Yes, I used to use the 565 on my D700 without a problem. I don't have a D700 anymore though. You probably want to send it back if you've only had it a few days. Personally I've found the 565 isn't very reliable. Mine broke a few months after I got it. I've heard from others too with broken 565's. I've now got a (repaired) 565 and a 568. The 568 seems to be working well so far. Only had it a couple of months though,

Has anyone had any experience with these non Canon wireless triggers, and could they be expected to work with the 5D Mklll and Canon Speedlites?
