Hi, i have just purchased a Yongnuo RF-603c Wireless Flash Trigger for my Canon EOS 600D and i cant get it to go onto the hot shoe fully only partially.
It is very tight, i can only seem to get it about 3/4 the way on to the hot shoe, i am using a fair bit of force i don't want to use much more force in case i damage the camera or transceiver.
Even after getting it partially on getting it off takes a lot of effort.
This is the first time i have used the hot shoe on the camera so maybe it needs loosing slightly and/or lubricating?
The hot shoe on the camera looks visibly fine. (i have only had the camera for about 2 weeks from new)
Before buying, i saw lots of reviews and videos and have not seen mentioned anywhere about this being a problem, the only negative points i have seen is about it not having easy access to the on/off switch when a flash is connected and no locking system.
So maybe this pair has not been manufactured correctly?
Can anyone share if they have experienced this or know how to fix this?
Thanks.
