I have a pair of the mark 1 triggers which I know do not work with the G80 as either remote flash or shutter release.
I have read several comments on various forums that the mark 2 triggers do work with m4/3 for flash triggering but I can't find any confirmation that they also work OK as remote shutter releases - which is what I really want them for.
Does anyone have any first hand experience of using the mark 2 on either a Panny or Olympus m4/3?
I do appreciate I could go iff & buy a cheal wired remote, but would prefer to stay wireless if I can.
Thanks.

i have a pair of 603c ii's which work as a remote trigger for the nikon d500 and pentax k3 using the cable out of the trigger into the camera. (different cable for each)

not sure if that helps at all.

Thanks Richard. Appreciate the reply. Really hoping that someone with either a Panasonic or Olympus and a set of triggers will reply so that I can get some 1st hand experience of whether this will work.
My existing 603s (version1) work fine with my Canon 80d but when I put the Canon cable into the Panny and press the button, the camera starts video recording rather than taking a photo! I have already decided there is no way I am putting my 603s into the Hot shoe of my Panny.

Just hoping that at least one fellow m4/3 user has tried to use the RF603 mark 2s as a shutter release. Many thanks.

Hi Paul,
Very many thanks for taking the time to upload the video.
Can I just ask, is the cable a standard Yongnuo supplied cable or did you have to source it separately?
I'm not sure what connector the Olympus requires but on my G80 it is a 2.5mm jack.
Thanks
Stuart

although having googled, maybe it didn't I must have sourced the lead elsewhere then :-/
Thanks. That makes sense, because I can't see anywhere that the RF603s come in anything other than Canon & Nikon versions. I'm therefore hoping that if the Canon 2.5mm connector doesn't work (& I'm assuming it won't) then I'll be able to pick up a Panasonic cable.
