Hi Guys

I am setting up a budget home studio and have two Yongnuo 560-II Flashes and a Flintwick 300 ES Strobe. I have been able to fire the yongnuo flashes from the camera (EOS 650D)no problem but wanted to add a more powerfull strobe as well. Anyway thinking i was being smart and could fire the flashes and strobe together if needed i purchased a set of neewer rt-16 triggers (3) and transmitter. Upon arrival the receivers all have a 2.5mm male jack lead on them with 6.35 adapters as well. For the strobe this is fine they will slot right in. However the transmitter sync lead is jack and pc connector, the Yongnuo flashes have PC connectors as well, i think PC is the right term. So my dillema the camera has female jack connection, the yongnuo flashes pc connections. So i cant see how i could use the 3 neewer receivers with the the camera transmitter and get them all working together, all different connections :( i have googled but cannot see any adaptors to convert the jack to pc connectors.

Any help or advise appreciated or is it just a matter that the neewer triggers are cheap and nasty. I think it may be possible to fire the flashes from the camera via IR as i have been and the stroble i think can fire from another flash so this may be an option but not sure

something like this should help sort things, available with or without pc socket or jack socket, hope this is of use

No problem lol, thanks for that just the job;)

Don't all the strobes have slave cells? You can generally get away with connecting the key light only. You shouldn't need any cabling at the camera, just mount the transmitter in the hot shoe.

I will give that a shot as well Phil thanks
