Hello,

We've had this flash for around a year now. Used it a few time in manual mode off camera. No issues. However I was having a play using it on our canon 400d. Seems to work happily in TTL mode however I can't seem to over-ride it and put it into manual. Adjusting the dial seems to make no difference.

What numpty thing I'm a doing wrong? Camera is in manual mode with sync speed of 1/200.

I would say from what you describe a faulty switch, It just might not be activating the manual selector switch, try placing on a trigger like the rf602.
other than that I cannot help.
 
I can only think that the clicker wheel is not working as it should, try a little direct pressure.
