Thought it was about time to post here and then found all the other Cambridge posts I'm an olympus user and since joining here seem to have gained a bean bag and waiting for the post tomorrow for a new tripod.....glad I,m not yet let loose in the classifieds! I am an amateur but have been taking photos since the 70's. My first slr being a zenith E. I am just learning about flash and portrait photography, an area I had avoided for years but as the kids have geared up to leave home I suddenly want to take their pictures. Went on a course last year in the Yorkshire Dales and am begining to get better at black and white.

Welcome from Bury, where you'd think that a sea mist had rolled in. Still, this IS how yesterday started and how nice was yesterday?
