Yellow

Could any one throw some light on a problem i have with my D300 when i take head and shoulders shot some of the shaded areas on the face are a pale yellow all other shots are fine. Do not have any problems with my D200.Rob

Sounds like WB to me too.

that just means you can change it afterwards if its wrong. It will still take the photo in the wrong white balance if you have set it to tungsten but are outside etc

on a serious note sounds like reflection or WB, have you tried removing it in post processing?

try a controlled experiment
take the same picture with both cameras, same lighting, same model, same camera position
put them both up so we can have a peer and ruminate
