Yahoo Mail "Privacy Error"

Can any body help me? when I attempt to enter Yahoo Mail, I get the above main error message, with the text in the main window: -

"Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from uk.mg40.mail.yahoo.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards)."

It started happening about two weeks ago, it's not a major thing as lower down the page there is an "Advanced" link which allows me to "Proceed anyway"

But why has this suddenly started happening?

could be a certificate problem at Yahoos end (although youd like to think theyd be on top of things like that).

could also be that you have malware on your machine.

either way consider your traffic not secure.
