no offense taken....i admit there is one born every minute...and on this occasion it is ME......(horrible to admit)!!

According to the Y strap site the strap attaches to the same places on the camera the neck strap does. If you're having a problem fitting it, email the guy and ask him for help.

From what I can see he winds the key ring onto the one eyelet hole of the camera and then the webbing is free to slide through the keyring. I don't think I would feel safe though with my camera supported by a key ring attached to one eyelet hole on my camera. Not a bad profit for a key ring, ladderlock buckle and some webbing. Total retail cost 10p for keyring, ladderlock buckle 40p and 2m webbing £1.20. Total retail cost £1.70.:suspect::naughty:

for pointing that out.....YES..I KNOW now that i am a BF....(these is no way that the key ring will go through the bit onthe camera that the normal strap fit to)...........................jackie

Ah but he does supply a smaller ring, a little keyring I expect, absolutely free of charge:bonk: for those of you who only have a smaller eyelet ring on your camera, and then the big ring attaches to this. Oh the wonders of modern science:lol::lol:

Have you watched his video on U tube, he definitely has the gift of the gab, I reckon he could sell a fridge to an eskimo. I had an experiment on an old camera and you can attach the strap this way, so all is not lost, it just depends how safe you would feel with your camera hanging on two key rings.:bat:

I reckon the keyrings would be a lot stronger than the 'lugs' on the camera and you trust them...

"Developed and handcrafted (one at a time) by Hybrid Artist Stephen M. Schaub. (Each one is individually numbered!)"

omg, there's no rolls eyes smiley.....:shake:

Looks like he's carrying a 35mm rangefinder, it would be handy to know what camera you propose to attach this strap to, and maybe what the camera lugs are like.

wait....."hybrid artist"......what a nonce.....there's still no rolls eyes smiley

i think the bloke is registered on here as well.

Good, hopefully he can sort her out with some more hand crafted, uniquely developed "Y" strap "A" rings made with the finest titanium coated (by hand...individually numbered aaaand signed as authentic), bits of chuffin metal...

drop him a pm, he is registered as... Figital Revoluti

personally i prefer the look of the r strap, but im happy with my talk photography neck strap for the mo.

good luck getting it sorted

Well I thought you were kidding - but he really is registered on here.
I wonder what number Jackie got, 1 or 2:bonk:

i think he registered when someone posted a link to his website and tried to defend it against a small amount of stick. havent seen him again since

I posted the orignal thread with the link, but the thread got full of a lot of negative comments, without anyone actually trying it out.
