Ok guys I had start my own thread as can't post in the other.

I am getting a xt1 kit with the 18-55 lens it been ordered and would like a starter tip what best best setting and is there any useful hints such as short cut or customise buttons.

As I listen to tips on setting my d750 up button wise and they were good tips

Also getting a A7ii to try along with it and keeping the d750 as well till I know what I really want. It the only way [emoji106]

'famous last words' but I'm happy with the D750. Works a treat for me. Won't be changing back to mirrorless anytime soon.

A D810 would be the next logical step but the owners thread isn't as good. :LOL:
 
Rico Pfirstinger's books are the best place to start for new Fuji users.

Thank you for your kind words. But with the cheek that being said in the other thread I won't be commenting as I don't feel part of it anymore so that the end of me regarding xt1 to any users on here am afraid.

Then again they won't care so who cares.
 
Andrew, it's nothing personal and I regret my last couple of posts but..

If you just ask constant questions without doing research it comes off as arrogant and disrespectful. I charge £100 an hour for my time professionally so why should I spend hours on your behalf for free? If you do your research and then fine tune your reasoning, then fair enough but if you expect us to supply you with every last morsel of info then you'll eventually put our backs up. Use Google, read the reviews and then come to us for fine-tuning and user experience. Again, though: my apologies for my short fuse. I'm normally slower to anger. And my apologies for the throw away comments on the X-T1 thread. But PLEASE go do your research and don't rely on us 100%.
 
Its ok

I do have a few disability issues which some know of but forum doesn't show who we are. That is partly why who I am.

Just need some fine tuning tips but rather be in the main thread but am locked out. No point posting in here as daft having 2 thread will close this if I can

Like you I am in similar position with an xt1 having come from canon dslr's
This http://www.johncaz.net/blog/x-t1-menu-setup-v430 might be of use to start with.
I have mine set on auto iso, auto shutter, aperture priority, fine.jpg +RAW ( although i am finding the jpg very good)
These seem to work for me most of the time

Anyway I'm pleased that you have managed to get your hands on one, I hope that it meets your expectations, taking your's and Duncan's posts above into account, I hope that the thread situation can be resolved.
