I currently have an old 16gb XQD card and the Sony MRW-E80. I want to buy a new card, I thing they are type G now. Will my existing reader be able to read the new card?

I have a Lexar reader which works well with my Sony G cards. Don't know how the Lexar compares with current readers which will probably work with CFExpress TypeB cars but I am not sure that the Lexar will.
