XQD card reader problem

I have recently got myself a new camera (Z6) and as such I now use XQD cards. I cannot upload my images using a reader, I bought a second reader thinking that was the problem, but nope it'still the same. I can upload my images using the camera and USB lead, any ideas??

Have you updated the firmware in the Z6 ?

Make sure you've got the latest firmware installed. I have no problem with my Z6 images from the XQD reader.

It is version 3.0

That's 2 versions old. You need to update to Ver.3.30.

A couple of years ago I bought one of the first Z6. No problems with card reader then. I used a genuine Sony one. I seem to recall there were two types of XQD card. Maybe it’s the wrong class of reader?
