Xbox One disc drive problems

I'm trying to play a DVD on my Xbox (as it's the only DVD player in the House) and my base Xbox One won't play it, I've checked the disc for scratches etc and it's totally clean.

Is there anything legal I can do? I can't afford to buy a new Xbox at the moment plus the next gen Xbox is unavailable due to the idiot scalpers.
 
Is it a home movie or a normal dvd movie?
I’ve found that home movies are blocked by Xbox for some reason which is frustrating as I can’t play holiday movies on it

Normal DVD, "Sparring Patterns by Grand Master CK Choi 9th Dan"
 
You need the 'Blu-ray Player' app installed to play video discs.
 
If it works with other discs fine, it must be an issue with the disc itself.
