Know that I`ve got a new monitor I`am wanting a monitor calibration tool I`ve read past post on the forums but would like a upto date review on the products out there
I`am drawn to the X-Rite i1 Display PRO but heard it wont run on windows 7 64-bit systems
So I`ve trolled the interweb and still at a loss to which one to go for also to add to the confusion do you need the ColorChecker Passport as well

any info would be of great help

Sorry cannot help with the ones you have asked for but my spyder 3 pro works fine with windows 7 64bit, incase you want to save some money and add that your list of ones to look at.

It works fine on Win7 here :)

The i1 will get you your monitor calibrated, the CCP will help you calibrate your camera. I have, and use, both.

Cheers for the info andy did the i1 work straight out of the box for you using windows 7 64 bit
and would you say that it`s a big difference using the CCP as well to
how you see the picture on the monitor as well as using the calibration tool for the monitor

Yup. Worked out of the box... Or at least with the software off the website. Big difference? A subjective word... But ALL my monitors are calibrated and I'm not happy if they appear off.
