After much soul searching I bought the nikon 70-30 vr ed blah blah etc
Decided to use this company based in Holland, following some previous posts on here.
I would most definitely recommend these guys.
I saved a huge amount of money- about 70 quid based on the best price on camerapricebuster. Including at 20 euro delivery charge.
Had a slight problem with the website processing the order twice but that was partly my fault. My card however wasnt debited twice. I called them up and the girl, who spoke perfect english, couldnt do enough to help and confirmed one of the orders were cancelled via email.
I ordered it a 3:15 on Friday, and HDNL tried to deliver Monday afternoon. Unfortunately no one was in, and it was returned to depot. Has been re- delivered today and is sitting at home for me waiting to unwrap. Maybe I will do one of those pointless unboxing videos on youtube- 'ooh a lens cap, a hood and a lens, well thats my review etc etc'
The lens has a 2 year European warranty too. I hope that my experience leads tomore trade for these guys. It really was a pleasure to deal with them.
(just hope the lens is intact now...)
