WWT Nikon Photography Competition 2008

Thank for that. Think I might try and enter. Interesting to see that they mention insects, as this is more my kind of thing. :thumbs: Wonder when the deadline will be, lets hope its towards the end of the year.
 
^^^ IIRC last years ended around September/October. If anyone fancies a head to head battle at Slimbridge this Spring/Summer I would be up for meeting up.

I've been thinking of visiting Slimbridge this year. Possible meet?

I've been thinking of entering, but prob no chance of winning.
 
I visited Arundel last year and they had loads of photos displayed from last years comp. Some stunning works were to be seen. I missed it last year so will have to try and enter this year.

Hiya,

My daughter won last years NE (Washington) junior competition and it was great fun. The staff at Washington were great and there was some fantastic entries.

We went to the presentation and national awards at the London Wetlands Centre and the judges (Chris Packham and others) were encouraging "non bird" themes - I think IIRC that one of the regional winners were a pair of newts.
