Are there really any greater tracks in the history of contemporary music than "I've got a brand new combine harvester" and "I am a cider drinker".

Somehow I doubt it.

I was recently in Dorset. Not impressed, pish weather, pish hotel, pish fishing and if that music is the best the place has to offer I won't be back.

I did have, for the first time in my life a deep fried faggot from a chip shop. I enjoyed that tho.

It was. Basically a deep fried, cricket ball sized conglomeration of scrapings off the Butchers floor. Not healthy and certainly not good for the gout but pretty nice to eat.

But even that has it's merits, it's memorable at least.

I can't remember the Mr Blobby one but I could never see the appeal myself!

I've been trying to think opt the worst single I can remember, except I can't! Mouldy old dough was a bizarre single but strangely popular (I was about 9 then!)

I'm going to go with "Grandma" St Winifred's school choir as the worst I can come up with.

Its only memorable in as much as my (Then young) Neice got the album
one Christmas, and would sneak it onto the CD player

Having seen the relevant 10 minutes of Warhorse the other evening, I saw that barbed wire did a pretty good job of stopping the cavalry...

Was it Steel's "Little white bull"? or there was a terrible one that Max Bygraves sang "Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat daisies, a kid'll eat ivy too", one of the old blokes on the farm used to drive us mad with it.
