WTF? Major Wierdo Allert

Bet that old gnarly mother has a moon cup.

Do you realise that several members have probably googled that and are now applying eye bleach?

Something's should never be Googled :(

And actually I failed to see the relevance of the post mentioning said item.

How? By giving it a choice when it's old enough to decide.
At what age would you suggest that might be? ( serious question)

And should it sign up for the rounders team or the rugby team, which loo's / changing rooms will *it* use at school?
I can see much p*** taking from its fellow pupils TBH.

Yes. Its weird.

I'm sure you (and I) are far from perfectly normal.

Its a good question, ultimately that would be their own decision when they feel they know.

Will they get bullied along the way, no doubt, look at some of the narrow mindedness here. Although nobody but the parents and teachers would know about their legal definition. But I suspect the child would just go with the flow and follow their peers until that point.

Character building you mean? :D

Saw summat a couple of days ago, about the increasing number of young girls being referred & wanting surgery on their genitals because they didn't like the look.
The thing that struck me though was the age of some of them.........8 & 9 yr olds! o_O

By not giving the child a choice before it's able to do so.

Much like raising a child in a religion not of it's choosing.

I can think of 2 major religions that practise MGM (as opposed to FGM) on infants. Of course, this is also done to boys from other religions but is rather rarer as an elective procedure...

I first heard of them in Hebden Bridge near me the apparent lesbian capital of Yorkshire. But I don't know if that is a valid link to the product.

The other thing of course off the top of my head, I can think of a few "Gender neutral" names, They may well be an awful lot of "Al's Bob's & Nick's about in the near future.
Or are we about to see the return of the "strange names" Wine type, place names, etc.

Will they get bullied along the way, no doubt
And of course their peers will soon "cotton on" to that ;)

Character building you mean? :D
Ah yes sorry I must remember to use PC neutral terms :D

I know its nowhere near as invasive, but the crazy bitch of an ex-SIL. insisted that my Niece at 18 months, had asked for her ears to be pierced.
The poor kid could hardly talk at that age let alone make that decision for herself, so as above, I'm sure its the parents that are making these "calls" for their kids.
And the mind boggles even further at that!

So whilst this poor kid after it's first day at nusery school is going to come running out excitedly shouting "Parent, Parent look what I've drawn, oh and how come all the other kids have a mum and a dad and I don't?"

My sister in law has turned into one of these weird non binary whatever's.
most odd, hate to think how her husband, my brother feels about it.

I've had to block her from Facebook as the amount of hate and vitriol she spews is unbelievable.

She seems to take a lot of offence if someone innocently calls her miss, or mam, or she.

She had a massive long rant because someone assumed she was straight because she is married to a man..
The world truely baffles me at times.

TBH I'm surprised, I naturally ( obviously wrongly) assumed that these none gender types were all peace and love hippy throwbacks to the

'60's type.

Oh dear, you have my sympathy :(

Congratulations. This was always a pretty nasty thread but I think you're succeeding in making the most unpleasant comments here.

Seriously? You think that a choice of sanitary device is entirely determined by sexuality? It's understandable (though wrong) to confuse sexuality with gender, but this takes it a whole new level.

Type in sjw into YouTube. They are all the same sort of people. They make out to be all sweet an innocent, yet are the people that turn up to peaceful protests wearing masks and hoodies.
It's a certain type of person, from a certain period of time who think the world owes them something. Boils my pee pee.

For me the problem would be, who are their peer group. IMO far better to treat a child as its physical gender until or unless he/she decides that it doesn't suit them.

One problem with that, and can be seen in the ongoing political debate in the USA is once your birth certificate shows your gender then it can be difficult to be seen as anything else, legally. At least one state, and more may follow, have laws regarding bathroom use dependant on gender at birth. Despite being a pretty stupid law, being forced to go to a male toilet when dressed as a woman or a female toilet dressed as a man, could at the very least be embarrassing and at the worse dangerous. You don't need a birth certificate to know what gender you are, I never even saw mine, birth certificate that is, until I was an adult, it didn't define my sexuality or who I am.
