Writing a landscape photography guide - advice needed.

I have never bought such a guide....
However what I need to know before I go to any location
Is the best way to get there ( preferably a Quick way, and also a way that include other Photogenic locations)
A general view of the location as well as an example photograph. (with time and month) and North orientation.
GPS data
Historical and local information, where to stay.
Access problems and viewpoints with unobstructed sight lines.

The problem with Popular view is that they are popular, and that the ideal conditions to get something special are very rare.

And you won't need to buy this one either. :D Just a little project for my website!

Thanks for the feedback, much obliged. What do you think of the articles I have already written for the guide?

Stephen, I think your idea is good and rather you than me as I think it will be a lot of work. I take it this is a work in progress as your locations so far seem to be limited to the coast road. One thing that would be really useful, but probably not easy to do would be an interactive map and some form of geotagging to link your images to their location.

Good luck
