Worst sniper ever

Not sure exactly what happened there.

The guy was shooting a .50 calibre rifle (big ass bullet half an inch in diameter) at a metal target, he hit the target but the bullet ricocheted back towards the guy and hit his ear defenders.
That whizzing sound was the bullet or at least a fair part of it tumbling in the air on the way back towards him.

He was damned lucky and damned stupid not to fire into soil or sand.

I love his mates reaction, sounds like Hank Hill.

Lucly indeed, the Barrett .50cal sniper rifle can punch a hole through a double thickness brick wall. It'll even go straight through a car's engine block at the correct range and trajectory.

You'd have to chuck it some to get through two skins of bricks :)

The Barret 50 cal is THE Sniper Rifle, my friends brother is a Sniping Instructor, he said when you fire one, the recoil is like being hit with a bus. Most people first time they shoot them, get some sort of massive bruising due to the kick back.

Due to it being an automatic the recoil from the Barrett is more of a push. I have fired many large calibre rifles including the .458 winchester and a 460 Wetherby but the harshest recoil I have ever known is the 300 holland & holland. Once was enough,

We had a girl in our platoon in basics who was tiny. The first time she fired her rifle it put her on her arse! :D

Used to shoot hand guns, stood on the range (on a concrete floor)and the d#ck next to me took up first pressure on his .38 Special and shot the floor.
The ricochet wizxed up in the air and then plopped down on my shoulder.

 I called him a #/''#*$$#
