Hi everyone

I was wondering how many people on here have used WordPress or graphpaperpress which is similar to design their websites with.

i like the look of this

And was wondering what people thought. Im looking at the $99 which is about £60 pounds. Do I still need hosting for sites like this???

All thoughts would be welcome.

nice themes, but you do still need hosting, with wordpress installed, so you can install the theme
 
I think the price is for access to all the themes they make, i've used one of there's before it was OK, but didn't end up using it in the end.

You will still need hosting, MYSQL for wordpress and a domain yes,

One of my sites is wordpress, pretty easy to set up and customise how you like.

Id start off with the free themes to get to grips with it before spending loads and not having a clue what to do.

:agree: Wordpress is fine but it's not always easy to set up a photo gallery, it needs a 'helpful' theme or a good deal of knowledge.
 
Totally agree with the thoughts on trying the free themes. Have a good play and find out how you like it. It's easy to waste £30 here and there on premium themes only to find they don't do exactly what you want.
Also have a look at the free Nextgen Gallery plugin to make photo management easier.
It took a bit of trial and error but I've finally found a theme I like for my Wordpress site.
