im currently in the process of creating a website using wordpress - which on the whole is going fine however one thing that seems pretty simple i dont seem to be able to do and the dedicated wordpress forums & googling havent been any help.
I want to create a webpage with thumbnail photos on of clients I have photographed which link to another webpage which has all the thumbnails of the photos in that album for that particular client. They can then click on the individual thumbnails to enlarge them as a lightbox.
I have created my individual gallery pages & the lightbox opens up but when I come to create the initial page of all the different clients thumbnails - i can only seem to be able to link to an individual photo and not to another webpage.
I have tried nextgen galleries and several other gallery plug-ins but nothing creates the simple gallery i want.
When i add the photo, there is an option saying 'link url' so I have added the permalink to the album in there and then clicked 'insert into post' but when i test-run it, I only get the single photo in a post.
My website is not live on the net, so im unable to give a link for people to have a look at what i mean.
Do any other fellow photographer & wordpress experts know how to point me in the right direction as im sure its something simple im doing wrong but its an integral part of my website being a photographer.
