Now I've got the slightly unorthodox greeting out of the way I'll tell you who I am 
My name is Dean (27 years old) and I've just bought myself a Sony Alpha 300 that is to be shared with my lovely wife. I'm looking forward to taking macro shots and also trying to capture the society that we live in today (buildings, people etc).
I'm not looking forward to learning photoshop as I hate fiddling about
I have no previous camera experience but I have appreciated the medium for a VERY long time. My favourite photographer is Frankie Quinn as I am a native from Belfast, and he managed to document the secterian conflict in great detail.
I look forward to you knowledgable people disecting my shots and hopefully making me a better amateur photographer.
