Woops, my finger slipped.

never mind, under distance selling regs you'll be able to return it ;)

Congrats :)

 ... never know where these titles are going till you get there ...

I'm sure you'll enjoy it ... I usually do when mine slips ...

:p

Now im waiting for delivery of; My new bag, a spare battery and a lens. I think im going to go shopping for some UV or clear filters to protect my new toy. Any suggestions? Hoya ones decent enough? Im quite partial to my one and only B&W filter. This worth the extra investment you lot recon?

HeHe... I knew you'd do it  You won't be disappointed - it's a fab lens

Some reasoned arguments on the pros & cons Here MK ...

Leaves me none the wiser but it may help ... ... I use UV Hoyas btb ... :D

:p

Hehe, cheers. I went with a 72mm and a 77mm B&W F-Pro filter in the end. Really decent prices from HK. Woo, im turning into a filter snob, lol. Next up (Need to wait for next months pay now) is something along the lines of; Cokin Z-Pro filter holder and a mixture of Hitech and Lee ND Grad filters, a red filter and a Lee, B&W or Heliopan CPL filter (Hopefully second hand as they are silly expensive new):)

Congrats on lens. That is w-i-i-i-de!

I have used both Hoya and B&W filters and am of the opinion that the B&W is a superior build but optically I cannot split them.

Why you grounded btb HuN ... ... I've obviously missed something ... :D

:p

The weather has been **** hence notice. It has improved significantly but the superstitious sid eof me won't let me change it until my next foray. Watch this space!

Same thing happened to me. Don't know how. Didn't regret it though!

I got it.:D First things first; Im not sure if anyone else has dealt with this ebay seller before, but I highly recommend mcargillphotography from this dealing. I ended up paying £249.00 +del of £9.95. I received a personalised email from him thanking me for the sale, and the delivery time was perfect. So to that seller...

Right, the lens. Ive not had chance to swing it in wide anger yet, but ive done some quick tests and it seems perfectly sharp. I have no reason to believe this is a soft sample. So thats good. I agree, this is a weird lens. I was having fun earlier taking a few quick portraits of my dad with it, and lol at the effect. Lets hope the weekend brightens up a bit so I can use it properly. And I hope my new bag turns up soon, as its becomming a very tight squeeze in the Slingshot 100aw.:)

Looking forward to those sample pics ;)

Cheers,
James

Yeah will be interested in the pics and your opinions, its next on my shopping list but not straight away :bonk:
