Good morning. Last Thursday, I was absolutely delighted to get my Fellowship in the Applied and Portraiture category.

It means that I am a very happy bunny! It is one of 3 distinctions that the RPS award. I did this as a way to develop and improve my photography; it really delivered. The RPS also does a lot more than distinctions. Here is a link to the Fellowship criteria. There were due to be 15 assessments on the day; 3 Fellowships were awarded. I did not see any of the digital submissions as we left during the break for lunch.

The only thing bigger, that I can think of, is an Honoury Fellowship awarded to a non member. As it is for life, and not contingent on membership.

Well done. I never done RPS or these things but an F qualification does certainly represent and endorse a skill.

Congratulations Linda, fabulous photos and you are allowed to adopt 'smug mode'....getting the FRPS required talent, persistence, perseverance and vision. I have none of those attributes, so I will always be 'ATGNI'
