Hi,
I have finally decided to move on to off-camera flash photography techniques and was looking around for a wireless trigger system. After some search online, I found two systems. One that has ETTL and one that simply triggers without the ETTL part.
Here are the ones I am considering:

YongNuo-YN-622C ETTL :

Yongnuo-RF-603-Wireless-Trigger-Transceiver

Yes, I'm on a budget hence considering the Yongnuo ones.

I have a Yongnuo YN-568 EX II for which one of these will be used. This flash gun has built-in TTL so my confusion is that with this built-in, do I need the YN-622C to fully use the TTL capabilities of my flash or the RF-603 trigger will do the job for me.

I hope I'm clear with the question. This has been bugging me alot and I have been unsuccessful in finding any answer to this.

You'll need the 622's for full TTL and you also get the benefit of full power control . 603's are " dumb " triggers so offer no TTL or remote control , they'll just fire the trigger in manual mode . If I were you I'd opt for the 622 and also look at the 622tx as it makes changing settings much easier .
John .

Get the 622 and start right.

It's worth the difference for the focus assist alone, which the 603 (and many other triggers) doesn't come with.

Agreed. I'm using 622s with 568s and I've ordered a 622tx. Great combos, work a treat, manual, eTTL and hss.

622 - just tested them with my studio heads to see what sync speed I could use - got up to 1/1250s @f2.8 iso100.

I had two 603's as a remote trigger though!
