I see so many variants of 'wireless' flash triggers that I wondered how reliable in use are the cheaper ones?

Heard some misfires occur of the infamous e-bay version and would like to hear what is the cheapest version that one can depend on.

cheers,

I've got the Cactus V4 set from Gadget Infinity in Hong Kong - they're an improvement over the earlier V2 and V2s versions and offer multi-channel setup to avoid interference problems.

I've not had a problem with any mis-fires or signal issues so I'd recommend them- my only complaint is that the battery door falls off too easily so I've taped it on.

I now have a large collection of YongNuo RF-602 triggers (from Flash In The Pan here http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=157807 ) including five receivers. One had a slightly sticky switch which I was a little uncomfortable with in case it should fail sometime, but that was replaced immediately.

They seem to be the poplular stobist's choice these days, and mine worked faultlessly over the last weekend when I had four of them in action. Recommended, damn cheap frankly, and very good service from Graham

Yeah, I've just dipped into the world of off camera flash too, with some Cactus V4s. So far, they do what they say on the tin. :)

That's the "Unlimited wonderful, Easily grasp, All in Yongnuo" as it says on the box

How long do you get from a set of batteries? It says 45 hours on the box. Which may be optimistic

Thanks.
