Surely "1's" and "0's" are the same by whatever method of transfer.
If you are concerned about about what might be called/considered low level losses that are not obvious but could still affect quality..........well I surmised we need the insight of the likes of Thomas Knoll of PS fame or similarly skilled person to reply as to whether in either raw or jpeg could be affected???
I've only done it using WMU on my Nikon D7200 and I observed no loss.
Like I said, might be a daft question but I wasn't going to let that prevent me from asking.

As oft said, 'the only daft question is the one unasked'.![]()
There is IMO no such thing as a daft question, as in many cases the resulting discussion throws up some interesting debate/insights![]()

It depends... usually yes it's the same quality, but things like Nikon SnapBridge (no idea about any other manufacturers) initially send a low quality JPEG version. Now, this may be a daft question, but is the quality of the photographs transferred via wifi the same as transferred from memory card?
Cheers.
