Wireless SD Cards.

Hi all,

A friend recently told me about these new SD cards that also allow the user to upload their shots immediately to websites such as Flikr, via a wireless network.

Has anyone seen these in the flesh? Do they work?

you are talking about the Eye Fi Card.

Not seen them in the flesh but by all accounts they work OK at short distances 10m or so - even with an SD-CF adaptor.

Only one downside they aren't available in the UK at the moment AFAIK. USA only.

They'll be the ones then. Be interesting to see what they're like in version 2 or 3. I had visions of a 3G type connection between your camera and laptop network back at home.
