Hi
Just got myself a Canon 9000 II at Focus yesterday now I need to keep my A4 as well and wanted to know if anyone can point me to getting a dongo that will plug into the printer so I can print to it without wire.
I need to have the printer not near the computer.
Anyone help on this please
Thanks

I got a home hub can I use this some how? also my Desktop has built in wirless as well, so if I can just get the printer to talk some how...

basicaly the print server plugs into the printer and pretends to be a computer, letting computers tell it what to tell the printer. come in wireless or ethernet (would plug into home hub) unlikely to be able to do it out of the box unless the canon printer has network connectivity built in (which a few commercial office type printers have built in)

I'm doing exactly what you are wanting to do using a Belkin All-in-one print server. Some print servers will not handle things like ink low warnings etc. but the Belkin works fine. The print server has a USB port into which you plug the printer and it connects wirelessly to the main hub. I'm using a Canon 9500 mark I.

+1 for Belkin. I have a Belkin Network USB hub connected to the Belkin Modem/Router and this runs two printers and my Dell Axim connection. Although I have the desktop wired into the router, there are two, sometimes three laptops able to use the printers entirely wirelessly.
