Wireless Photo Printer/Camera combo

Following on from my previous thread on Polaroid Film and with the increasing costs can anyone suggest a camera and printer combo that can be used wireless? As people get to events we normally take a photo for our participants wall - the great thing with Polaroids is they are instant!

Looking at joining the 21st century does anyone have any ideas of cameras and printers that communicate wirelessly and can print 6x4's quickly and most importantly cheaply.

I'm not interested in wireless transmitters for Canon's at £500 etc but a cheap everyday solution.

These I believe are the only option.

There was an electrical engineer on here or PotN trying to reverse engineer the technology to make one for about £100-£125 but I don't know how that project is progressing, you might want to have a search for the thread and contact him

Surely there must be some kind of 'point & shoot' camera that has the capability to print direct from camera, pref wireless, otherwise is a cable system the best bet to just take a shot and print there and then. Needs to be a mobile system but not great quality images.

A lot of compac cameras plus into the printer for direct printing, and there's a few that can connect to a network wirelessly but I don't know of any that will connect the camera to the printer without a router involved

Atleast we have an option then with a bloody long USB cable to print directly that way.
