I recently bought a Fuji X-Pro after deciding to downsize my kit and move away from my DSLR gear.

Much as I love the new camera I haven't been able to find a suitable flash trigger solution - previously I used my trusty old Yongnuo 602s to trigger a pair of Yongnuo speedlites but despite reading online that the 602 trigger would happily work on the Fuji, nothing doing.

I've no wish to go spending loads on solutions like PocketWizards, but I'd like to be able to use my old strobes on occasion - manual is fine, I'm not fussed about TTL.

Are there any X-Pro owners out there that have found a reasonable solution?

Not tried it myself, but I believe any radio trigger with a single central firing contact should work. Plenty of those about.

If its any help I use a PW plus x with my x100s. I know the plus iii works as well. Not cheap triggers but work

Thanks for the comments :)

You're right about the central contact Hoppy - my good old Yongnuo 460 works quite happily on the camera, it's when I introduce the trigger that things go awry. Every time the AF locks it fires the trigger. I'll try taping over the rest of the pins on the bottom of the trigger and see if that makes a difference.

Or put the trigger on the hotshoe backwards, had to do that with my Pentax or I got constant misfires.

Got my X-E1 yesterday and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get the camera to fire the trigger. Switched Silent Mode to ON and triggers now work perfectly :)
