I currently have a Nikon setup, D800e, D750 and various lenses/flashes.

im looking to sell up and buy in to something more portable/lighter..

id like to keep the ability to do the odd semi-pro job and decent quality print sizes, just in case..

But what is out there these days? Iv not looked for quite some time!

TIA

So much out there, impossible to list it all.
Nikon, canon, Sony, Fuji have all invested heavily in apsc and full frame mirrorless.

I used Fuji for many years, but have now switched to Sony Full frame As I primarily do wildlife.
If you have lots of Nikon glass, that’s probably the better option as the lenses can be used on the Z mirrorless range with an adapter.

Also depends largely on what you shoot. Wildlife, Sony probably just wins out when you consider autofocus systems and lens choice, Landscapes, maybe Sony again with the high MP bodies, but the others aren’t far behind if not equal.

People, weddings etc probably not much in it through all systems. Some people aren’t keen on Sony colours though, though they have improved it with newer bodies.

in short, Nikon is the obvious choice, but every manufacturer has something to offer.

I went D40-D90-D300-D700-D750 over 10 years+ and then changed to Fuji XT3. Do some paid work too. Yes, I do miss FF to a degree but glad I made the change. Great lenses and setup.
