Hi Folks

I am a mac user so I have sod all knowledge of Windows for 20 years..

Anyway I need to get my 7 year old daughter a laptop as she need to type for her work due to a learning disability. As she only 7 I dont want to spend too much. Is 4GB of data on a Windows 10 laptop any good for her?

Cheers

It will work with 4GB of RAM as long as she will not be stressing it with 'hungry' programmes.
At 7 years old, needing it for "typing" I would not think it likely that she will stress the system in any way ... more is always better but not always necessary. :)

Have you looked into funded IT equipment for learning disability.

I deliver and set up kit for companies like Wyvern who do government assisted equipment like laptops and printers.
