At present I have the old desktop running win 7 32 bit version purchased from software for students and a dell laptop running win 64 which came pre installed which a re installation disk was sent with the machine.
I have just ordered a mac to replace the old desktop and I want to run bootcamp on it to have the odd game on - so I need to install win 7 64 bit on the mac.
Now, I have two licenses for win 7 (1 on the laptop one one the d.top) and I sure as hell aint planning to fork out again for another copy of windows 7 for the bootcamp.
Im thinking, install 32 bit over the 64 bit on the laptop, and then with the free 64 bit use this on the mac. Does this sound correct? Or is there any easier way to do it?
The other thing is as well Im sure we had the liscense code for the 64 bit stuck to the bottom of laptop but I cant seem to see it now, would I ever have had this since it came preinstalled from dell new and Ive never had to sort anything out on it
