Will this work on my Canon eos 450D?

Canon EF-S lenses will not mount on the KENKO DG Extension Tube Set. These lenses include but not limited to EF-S 10-22, EF-S 17-85, EF-S 18-55, and EF-S 60mm Macro.

And also this df of the Kinko site says not EF-S compatible

I love google.

Well I have to contradict you there.

I have a set of Kenko DG AF tubes and my 17-85mm EFS lens (IS USM) certainly does fit and work with them.

As does the 18-55mm kit lens from my 350D.

Don't have a 60mm macro so can't comment on that lens but the Kenko box says "for Canon EF/EFS"

The macro is a ef-s lens

So is the link above the same as you have? As I need to be sure it's the right set before I splash my cash lol

I can confirm that Kenko tubes are now available that work with both EF and EFS. This has not always been the case. Make sure the box clearly stated 'for CANON-EOS EF/EFS'. You can also look at the tubes which should have both a red and a white mount indicator dot. Unfortunately it is not clear if the particular set you are asking about are newer type.

Well the Jessops link shows the set I have.

The other link won't show because my Adobe Reader says it is damaged.

I have a three ring DG Auto set.

I actually bought them on here for half the price Jessops sell them for and they work fine.

I don't know about the 60mm macro because as I said I don't have one, but they are excellent on the "nifty fifty" I also bought on here.

And with the "nifty fifty I can use the flash on my camera which I can't do on the 17-85mm lens because it is too large and cuts off the flash.

And like you I use it on my 450D (which I also bought on here!)

So it might be worth putting an ad in the "wanted" section for the kenko set, or keep an eye out on the "for sale" section.

An EF/EF-S set can be had for about £85 from Hong Kong via Ebay. I have such a set.

Took only 4-5 days from order to delivery.

I have seen a few on eBay, uk sellers to for roughly same price, and clearly marked in red for ef/efs mounts, maybe that's my bbest option, I hate waiting but 4-5 days I will have to manage lol
