Will paypal provide protection if i buy from Panamoz (outside of Ebay)?

I am interested in the following lens from Panamoz.

The price is pretty good and looking at the reviews for Panamoz, there is mixture of good and some bad feedback. They accept paypal so i am wondering that if i do buy the lens and pay by paypal, will i get the same payment protection as the one you would get if you bought the item from Ebay?

I've not had to dispute any Paypal purchases outside of eBay though, so couldn't tell you if there are any differences. If you go ahead, be sure to use a credit card to give another layer of protection

no extra protection by using a CC, section 75 protection does not apply as you are not buying the item directly with the card (you are merely funding your PayPal account from the CC).

Well I hope they stick to that
I tried to claim, albeit a year or so back and they flatly refused as "the something" was bought outside ebay.
I agree about using the Credit card too
