Will I see a difference moving from 1d mk3 to 7d mk2

Hi I have 1d mk3 as a backup camera (for just in case) where high fps is needed.
7d mk2 seems to be the logical upgrade is it got 2 cards and much newer overly.
Any one of you have moved from 1d series to 7d mk2 what`s your thoughts?
