Wild Poppies out in the UK yet?

Seeing a few photos of poppies popping up now, but generally from abroad, anyone seen any out in the UK yet? Looks like it could be nice weather this weekend so tempted to go out and do some poppy hunting

I spotted some in yorkshire over the weekend but none in lincs yet but they should be appearing about now

There is a field not too far away from you where the farmer allows thousands to grow freely if you know where Castleford is

i've seen one or two on the grass verges around here, but no mass fields in bloom yet. Can't be long.

These are wild, some peeps call them Icelandic Poppies, they're yellow and orange. The opium poppies are later in the year and I guess you want a field full?

loads of the yellow wild ones where i live but very few red ones only seen 1 on the way to work each day

Yes loads of red ones in Essex and Suffolk mixed in the rape fields.

Some big red ones near Blackpool, got em on film though and a few shots left on roll yet.

few red ones growing in hedges here in gloucestershire, but nowt worth getting excited about
