Wide lens+1Dmark4

Sigma 12-24mm II - is that wide enough?
Samyang 14mm if you want a bit more sharpness? (or Canon if there is too much cash to spend)

Something a bit more sensible with filters? Try Tokina 12-24mm (will work as 15-24mm) or 11-16 (13-16mm)

At the moment the widest lens I have for my 1D Mark4 is the f4 24-105mm. Could someone tell me what is the widest lens I could use with the 1D without vignetting.
Thanks
Dai
Nothing, every single lens does it to some extent, even my 400mm f/2.8 vignettes

Pedantics aside, the Tokina 11-16 is decent, the Sigma 12-24mm vignettes heavily, how wide do you really need to go, the Canon 17-40mm is a very good lens.

I was considering the Tokina 11-16 recently. It gets good reviews and is supposed to be useful on a Mark IV from 13/14mm onwards.
I'd buy one if I hadn't banned myself from buying anything more this year!

If you need an all round wide lens, the 17-40 is an awesome contender. If it's specifically wide angle you are looking for, and relatively extreme at that. The Rokinon/Samyang 14mm F/2.8 is pretty good, as is the tokina 11-16.
