I had two different Optech straps but ended up buying a fabric one from an ebay seller in Korea: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Camera-St..._Camera_Straps_Hand_Grips&hash=item5644851c59

It's superb! So comfortable to wear, even with over 2kg of weight hanging from it, and much easier to roll/fold up and squeeze into a camera bag than the bulky, semi-rigid Optech ones. Highly recommended.

i use an optech sling strap with mine and find it very handy, camera sits on the hip and i just keep a hand on it to stop it swinging.

takes the weight lovely though, doesnt cut into your neck like the standard ones do and is nice and easy to swing round to take a shot!

Very well priced too.
